Palestinian injured by Israeli gunfire near Nablus

A Palestinian youth was injured late last night after Israeli occupation forces shot at his vehicle in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to Palestinian security sources.

They told WAFA that the Israeli forces shot at a white vehicle during clashes that erupted after Israeli settlers arrived at Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus. As a result, the car overturned.

Ahmad Jabril, head of the Red Crescent emergency department in Nablus, told WAFA that the youth was injured with three bullets in the face and leg. He was taken to hospital where he was reported in moderate condition.

Hundreds of Israeli settlers arrived at Joseph’s Tome under heavy protection from the Israeli army, which sparked clashes between Palestinians and the Israeli soldiers, who fired bullets and tear gas bombs at the Palestinians.
