GAZA, A Palestinian injured in the latest Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip today succumbed to his wounds, bringing the death toll to 248.

Medical sources at al-Shifa Hospital said that Mahmoud Abu Jarad, a resident of Beit Hanoun town, succumbed to his serious wounds he sustained from relentless Israeli bombardment on May 11th.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the overall death toll since the latest onslaught began reached 248, including 66 children, 39 women, 17 elderly people, and five disabled people, and more than 1,910 others were wounded.
