Palestinians held a sit-in protest today in the town of Abu Dis to the southeast of occupied Jerusalem, demanding the release of the body of a Palestinian woman, who was killed by Israeli military gunfire at the entrance of Hizma town, north of Jerusalem on June 16.
The body of Mai Afaneh, a 29-year-old mother of an eight-year-old girl from Abu Dis town, has been withheld by Israel since she was shot dead by Israeli forces on June 16.
