Palestinians in northern Jordan Valley village banned by Israel from using rainwater

JORDAN VALLEY, Palestinian residents of the village of Bardala, in the northern occupied Jordan Valley, were banned by Israel from using rainwater after Israeli forces today closed water openings residents have used to provide their village with water, said local sources.

They said that the Israeli forces raided the village and proceeded to close the openings under the pretext they were not licensed.

Palestinians in the northern Jordan Valley suffer from critical water shortage due to Israel’s control over all Palestinian water resources, which it freely uses for its illegal settlements in the area.
