Palestinians injured as Israeli forces violently quell Kafr Qaddoum weekly demonstration

At least seven Palestinians, including journalists, were injured after being shot with rubber-coated metal bullets as Israeli forces violently suppressed the weekly anti-settlement peaceful demonstration in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia.

The popular resistance committee coordinator in the village of Kufr Qaddoum, Murad Shtawi, said Israeli forces attacked participants in the demonstration with rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters, shooting and injuring at least seven people, including three journalists. Dozens of others were treated from tear gas suffocation.

Participants also rallied to mark the 58th anniversary of the launch by Fatah movement of the Palestinian resistance and revolution.

Participants chanted national slogans affirming their persistence on the resistance and revolution approach until the Palestinian people’s full goals are realized.
