RAMALLAH, Saturday, June 25, 2022 (WAFA) – The Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) reaffirmed President Mahmoud Abbas as Chairman and President of the State of Palestine and Hussein al-Sheikh as Secretary-General and Head of the Negotiations Affairs Department.

The distribution of tasks in the PLO came during a meeting headed by President Abbas and held on Thursday at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.

The Executive Committee also named Azzam al-Ahmad to head the Department of Arab and Parliamentary Affairs, Ziad Abu Amr, for the Department of International Relations, Saleh Rafat, the Military and Security Department, Bassam al-Salhi, the Social Affairs Department, Ahmad Majdalani, the Labor and Planning Department, Ramzi Rabah, Department of Anti-Racism, Wasel Abu Yousef, Department of Popular Organizations, Ramzi Khoury, Palestinian National Fund, and Ahmad Abu Houli, Department of Refugee Affairs.

It also named Adnan Husseini for the Department of Jerusalem Affairs, Ali Abu Zuhri, Department of Education, Faisal Arnaki, Department of Expatriate Affairs, Ahmad Tamimi, Department of Human Rights and Civil Society, and Mohammad Mustafa, for the Department of Economic Affairs.
