RAMALLAH, The Presidency today confirmed today its position in support of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Presidency affirmed in a press statement the position of the State of Palestine, led by President Mahmoud Abbas, as well as that of the Palestinian people in support of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

It also affirmed the State of Palestine’s support for any decisions taken by the Kingdom to preserve its sovereignty and protect its rights.

It expressed confidence in the monarch, government and people of the Kingdom and in the latter’s unwavering positions – as evidenced in his recent speech- in support of the Palestinian question and regarding preserving the Palestinian people’s sacred rights, finding a just solution to the question and commitment to the Arab Peace Initiative, which guarantees the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, chiefly with regard to safeguarding Jerusalem and its holy sites.

It renewed its full confidence in the Kingdom’s decisions to safeguard its sovereignty and rights, and defend the rights of the Arab nation, chiefly with regard to  Palestinian cause.

It reiterated that the Palestinian leadership and people stand by the Kingdom just as the latter has always stood by the Palestinian people in the struggle for the restoration of their legitimate rights while stressing its total rejection of the policy of dictates on the Kingdom.
