Presidency spokesman slams Ben-Gvir’s storming of al-Aqsa

RAMALLAH, The presidential spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said that the Israeli Jewish supremacist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir’s storming of al-Aqsa Mosque is a challenge to Palestinian people, the Arab nation and the international community.

Abu Rudeineh warned that the continuation of these provocations against Islamic and Christian sanctities will lead to more tension and violence and an explosive situation.

He held the extremist Israeli government responsible for any results or repercussions regarding its racist policies against Palestinian people and their sanctities.

He stressed that the attempts of the Israeli occupation authorities to change the historical and legal reality existing in Al-Aqsa, by perpetuating its temporal division in the way of dividing it spatially, are rejected and doomed to failure, stressing that Jerusalem and the holy sites are a red line that cannot be crossed.

The presidential spokesman called on the US administration to assume its responsibilities and force Israel to stop its escalation and storming Al-Aqsa Mosque before it is too late.

He emphasized that the Al-Aqsa incursions turned from settler incursions into governmental Israeli incursions, which are rejected and condemned.
