President Mahmoud Abbas today called outgoing Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, on the occasion of the end of his term.

President Abbas expressed during the phone call hope to achieve peace between the two sides as soon as possible.

For his turn, Rivilin thanked president Abbas for his call.
