ALGIERS, President Mahmoud Abbas today held talks with his Tunisian counterpart, Kais Saied, on the sidelines of the 31st Arab Summit currently underway in the Algerian capital during which they discussed the latest developments regarding the Palestinian issue and Israeli violations against the Palestinian people and their Muslim and Christian holy places.

They also discussed the latest developments in the region and other regional and international issues of common interest, as well as means to develop and strengthen bilateral relations in all fields.

President Abbas appreciated the support by Tunis for the Palestinian people and their just cause at all international levels as they seek their freedom and independence.
