President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to arrive in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, today on an official two-day visit and then travel to France as part of a tour of European countries, according to the Palestinian presidency.
It said President Abbas will meet his Romanian counterpart Klaus Iohannis and other officials during which they will discuss strengthening bilateral relations in all fields.
Two agreements on cooperation in the academic field and fighting organized crime are also going to be signed during the President’s visit to Romania.
After concluding his visit to Romania, President Abbas will head tomorrow to France where he is scheduled to meet his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday.
