Presidential spokesperson condemns Israeli army killing of Palestinian teen in Jenin

RAMALLAH, Presidential spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh condemned in a statement the Israeli army’s killing of a Palestinian teenager early morning today in the village of Kafr Dan in Jenin governorate, slamming his killing as another crime added to the series of constant daily Israeli crimes committed against the Palestinian people.

Abu Rudeineh stressed the need for the Israeli occupation government to stop its dangerous escalation which will drag the region into further deterioration and destabilization.

He further demanded the Israeli government stop settlers’ provocations at the al-Aqsa mosque, affirming that any encroachment upon the mosque would add fuel to the fire.

“The US administration must pressure the Israeli government to stop its aggression rather than seeking justification for this Israeli criminal aggression and attempting to shift the blame for what is happening to the Palestinian authority.” Said the presidential spokesperson.

He stressed that the Palestinian people and government will not accept the persistence of these conditions of daily killings, incursions into al-Aqsa mosque, settlements, and other Israeli crimes, holding Israel responsible for this serious escalation that no one can bear the serious consequences of.

He noted that President Mahmoud Abbas’ upcoming speech at the United Nations will define the parameters of the next phase that would protect the interests and rights of the Palestinian people.

Seventeen-year-old Oday Salah was killed early morning today by a bullet to the head fired by the Israeli occupation soldiers during a raid in the northern West Bank village of Kafr Dan.
