Prime Minister condemns Israel’s killing of two young Palestinians, calls for international protection

RAMALLAH, Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh today condemned the Israeli army killing earlier of two young Palestinians and called on the countries that voted in favor of requesting a legal advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice on the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination to take immediate measures to provide protection for the Palestinian people.

The Prime Minister’s call came following a new crime by the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Kufr Dan, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, which resulted in the killing of two young men, Mohammad Samer Hoshieh and Fouad Mahmoud Abed.

He said that this crime reflects the thinking and behavior of the perpetrators, who continue their crimes without fear of being held accountable or punished, holding the occupation authorities fully responsible for the repercussions that may result from the daily killings and incursions.
