RADIO “MONTE CARLO INTERNATIONAL” HAS BEEN CUT OFF IN SUDAN DUE TO CLASHES IN THE COUNTRY

The France Médias Monde media group has announced that it has cut off the broadcast of Radio Monte Carlo International in Sudan, due to the clashes in the country. It expressed its “serious concern at the interruption of Monte Carlo International transmission on FM in Khartoum, and in particular the deprivation of the Sudanese people’s right to obtain information, by preventing media broadcasts in the country,” and it hoped that “everyone working in the group will restore Monte Carlo International transmission and all other radio stations affected by the closure of the broadcasting site.”
