Muscat: Maj. Gen Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), received Lt. Gen Carmine Masiello, Chief of Staff of the Italian Army, at his office in Al Murtafa'a Garrison today. The meeting between the two high-ranking officials was marked by discussions on various military topics of mutual concern, as well as a review of existing military cooperation between Oman and Italy. According to Oman News Agency, the discussions provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views and strengthen ties. The meeting also saw the attendance of several RAO officers and the military attaché of the Italian embassy in Muscat, underscoring the significance of the visit and the ongoing collaboration between the two nations' armed forces.
