RAO Initiates Training for New Batches of Officer Cadets


Muscat: Acting in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) today received two batches of officer cadets nominated for military training. The step was in pursuit of efforts to employ Omani youth and help them join the fields of national duty.



According to Oman News Agency, this followed the candidates’ passing the stages of acceptance, evaluation, tests, medical and physical examinations. Those who meet the conditions will undergo the basic military training program in preparation for joining the RAO.



The RAO harnessed its human, administrative, and health expertise and capabilities-including transport requirements and the appropriate environment-to expedite practical procedures for joining the military service, within the framework of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) plans that aim to make optimal use of the potential of qualified national competencies, support their wings and the departments of the Ministry of Defence, in serving dear Oman and its beloved leader.
