Israeli forces have intensified their military presence in Tel Rumeida area in central Hebron ahead of a visit for a US diplomat to the Israeli settlement of Ramat Yeshai, built illegally on Palestinian land in central Hebron, according to reports.

Reports and witnesses said the Israeli occupation army intensified its military measures in Tel Rumeida area amid the heavy presence of settlers who gathered to receive the US diplomat who is visiting the illegal settlement to meet with the leader of the terrorist Israeli Kahane Chai group, Baruch Marzel.

The visit came to celebrate the US removal of the terrorist group from Washington’s list of “foreign terrorist organizations” in complete disregard of the group’s crimes committed against Palestinians.
