Muscat: The Research and Innovation Authority (RIA) has announced the commencement of application procedures for the 76th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Physiology and Medicine, set to occur in Germany from June 27 to July 2, 2027.
According to Oman News Agency, RIA is aiming to provide an exceptional opportunity for Omani researchers and students to partake in this prestigious event. The initiative is designed to enhance the participants' capabilities, broaden their prospects for international collaboration, and improve their communication skills with a distinguished group of Nobel Laureates.
This annual meeting allows for the nomination of three young scientists from Oman. These nominees will be evaluated by the event organizers to determine the most suitable candidates to represent Oman. The event will host approximately 40 Nobel Laureates and 600 young scientists from over 80 countries. Eligibility for participation is limited to undergraduate students, Master's and PhD holders, and postdoctoral researchers in Physiology and Medicine.
The deadline for registration is set for October 19, 2026.
