Rosatom Intends to Expand its Wind Power Project in Kyrgyzstan


Russian State corporation ‘Rosatom’ signed an agreement with the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan on the construction of wind power plants in the country with a capacity of up to 1 GW, according to the telegram channel of Novavind, the Rosatom division responsible for implementing programs in the new energy sector. Thus, the state corporation will expand its project in Kyrgyzstan.

The second stage of the project involves the development of sites for the placement of renewable energy sources with a total capacity of up to 900 MW.
