Muscat: The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) today received a new batch of citizens (males and females) who wish to obtain military training and join the RAO units.
According to Oman News Agency, the program is in pursuance of integrated national efforts made by the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) to employ citizens in coordination with the Ministry of Labour. The citizens will undergo basic military training as new soldier recruits scheduled to undertake national duty after passing the stages of qualification and medical fitness physical examinations.
The RAO has extended its expertise, capabilities, facilities, and human resources to the new recruits in a manner that provides them with a suitable environment and enables them to join the military service. The training program constitutes part of national plans to supply the SAF and other departments of the Ministry of Defense with qualified talents and serve the nation and its beloved leader.
