President of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received Northern Governor, Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, in the presence of SCH Secretary General Ibrahim Ali Al Newakhdha, and Coordinator of the Healthy Cities Office at the governorate Jafar Al Halay.

The SCH President received a copy of the World Health Organisation (WHO)’s accreditation of A’ali a healthy city. He welcomed the Northern Governor, stressing steady development of the health sector thanks to the unlimited support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The SCH President pointed out that implementing the Healthy Cities Programme synchronizes with the goals of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and the initiatives aimed at further optimizing the health services and ensuring their sustainability.

The Northern Governor expressed utmost thanks and appreciation to the SCH President for the gracious welcome and continued support to all health initiatives.
