South al batinah: The Municipal Council in South Al Batinah Governorate reviewed several service and developmental topics during its eighth meeting this year. The meeting was chaired by Eng. Masoud Said Al Hashmi, Governor of South Al Batinah and Chairman of the Municipal Council.
According to Oman News Agency, the council examined the executive status of a project to allocate an agricultural land plot under ‘usufruct’ for relocating the poultry breeding and marketing project in Al Mullada area in the Wilayat of Al Musannah. The council also considered various service proposals aimed at enhancing infrastructure and developing services in the governorate. These proposals included creating residential plans in Dabaa village in the Wilayat of A’Rustaq, planning a residential site in Wadi Bani Ghafir, and establishing residential plans in Falaj Al Wusta and Wadi Bani Awf.
Additionally, the discussions covered a number of proposals and requests to implement a range of service and developmental projects in the governorate, highlighting the council’s ongoing efforts to address the region’s development needs.
