Seoul: South Korea's exports of information and communication technology products reached an all-time monthly high in May 2026, driven by strong demand for semiconductors and other artificial intelligence-related items. ICT exports stood at $47.79 billion last month, a 128.9 percent jump from the same month a year earlier, according to data from the Ministry of Science and ICT. According to Oman News Agency, the ministry reported that it was the first time monthly ICT exports had exceeded the $40 billion mark for three consecutive months.
