Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, today sent two cables of congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Royal Endurance Team Captain, and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, on the successful participation of their children in their first external endurance event through the 20 kilometre-long race which was held in Monpazier in France.

Al-Musallam commended HH Shaikh Nasser’s efforts to develop the endurance sport in Bahrain, citing HH’s keenness to encourage Bahraini riders of all ages to achieve success.

Speaker Al-Musallam congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser and HH Shaikh Khalid on the success of their children in winning the trophies of the international race, noting that their distinction and fruitful participation are the outcome of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s support.
