Suffocation cases among Palestinian civilians from Israeli teargas in Nablus, Qalqilia, Bethlehem

Several Palestinians suffocated from Israeli teargas today during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied West Bank provinces of Nablus, Qalqilia, and Bethlehem, according to local sources.

In Nablus, north of the West Bank, confrontations erupted between Palestinian civilians and Israeli occupation forces in the village of Usarin, during which the latter fired teargas canisters causing multiple cases of suffocation from gas inhalation among the local Palestinian residents.

Suffocation cases from Israeli teargas inhalation were also reported during similar confrontations in the nearby village of Beit Dajan, and those who suffocated were treated at the scene by local medics.

In Qalqilia province, several Palestinians suffocated from Israeli teargas, including a child, during the weekly anti-occupation protest in the village of Kafr Qaddum.

In Bethlehem province, south of the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces raided the entrance to Aida refugee camp, provoking confrontations with local residents, during which the forces fired teargas causing several cases of suffocation among the locals.
