The Minister of Sustainable Development, Noor bint Ali AlKhulaif, met the Deputy Foreign Minister for Multilateral and Global Affairs of the Republic of South Korea, Park Yongmin.

This came during an official visit the Minister is conducting to the Republic of Korea, as part of her participation in the high-level Bahraini Business delegation headed by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, His Excellency Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro.

Minister AlKhulaif highlighted the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Korea, stressing the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening these relations to achieve the sustainable development targets.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the major milestones, plans and challenges in achieving sustainable development.

They also highlighted the pivotal role the private sector plays in the development process and the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals.
