Sustainable Development Minister Noor bint Ali AlKhulaif, met with the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO Deemah AlYahya.
The minister commended the DCO’s efforts to support the region’s digital economic development and further cooperation between member states towards achieving the organization’s objectives.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed Bahrain’s strides in the field of digital transformation, in addition to the importance of digital technology in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
The minister expressed her pride in Bahrain’s presidency of the Organization in its current session of 2023, which, she said, reflects the confidence of the member states in the ability of the Kingdom to achieve the set objectives.
AlYahya highlighted Bahrain’s continuous support for the Digital Cooperation Organization and its active participation in achieving the objectives set by it.
