Telecom, tourism ministries launch service messages introducing Palestine to visiting tourists

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Rula Maayah, and Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Ishaq Sidr, launched today a service introducing Palestine to visiting tourists and users of Palestinian mobile networks through the international roaming service.

Maayah stressed the importance of these messages in introducing Palestine and in directing tourists to surf the tourism ministry’s website to get all the information they need about tourism and archeological sites, and other tourist destinations they might want to visit in Palestine.

She pointed out that the website of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities was upgraded to enable the tourists to view the facilities they might be interested in, such as hotels, souvenir shops, and others during their stay in the country.

The service was launched at the headquarters of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Bethlehem in the presence of representatives of the Palestinian private telecommunications sector and the private tourism sector.
