RAMALLAH, Ten people have died in Palestine in the last 24 hours after contracting Covid-19 and 1071 new cases were recorded, today said the Ministry of Health.

Eight of the deaths were in the Gaza Strip where 418 new cases were confirmed and 1200 corona patients have recovered.

The West Bank and East Jerusalem had one death each with the West Bank recording 183 new cases and 1374 recoveries, and East Jerusalem had 470 new cases and 580 recoveries.

The Ministry said 146 coronavirus patients are getting treatment in hospitals, 84 are in intensive care, and 30 are on ventilators.
