Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi today received the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) Deemah AlYahya.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed joint ties between Bahrain and the organization, and stressed Bahrain’s commitment to further cooperation to achieve goals set out.

The meeting also highlighted the organisations’ outstanding achievements as well as the targeted plans and programmes.

Al Yahya commended Bahrain’s efforts to develop the communications and information technology sector, stressing the importance of expanding joint cooperation.

The meeting was held as the Kingdom of Bahrain assumed the presidency of the Digital Cooperation Organization in its current session 2023.
