Beirut: The New York Times reported, citing senior European officials, that several European leaders have received an invitation to attend a meeting next Monday at the White House between US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, according to Sky News Arabia.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, this meeting comes after a summit between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday, which Washington said made "significant progress" in discussions on the Ukrainian crisis, without reaching a final agreement to end the conflict.
Earlier on Saturday, the White House said that US President Donald Trump had a lengthy phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
