Istanbul: Turkish Airlines announced the cancellation of some flights at Istanbul International Airport for today and tomorrow due to snowfall. According to Oman News Agency, the company said in a post on its official account on X that the decision to cancel some flights to and from Istanbul Airport was based on restrictions taken by the State Meteorological Service over the expected snowfall in the city. In a related context, local authorities in Istanbul announced the suspension of studies throughout the city today, due to the expected heavy snowfall, and called on citizens to exercise caution and avoid going out in private cars except in cases of extreme necessity.
