TWO BATCHES OF LEBANESE EVACUEES FROM SUDAN ARRIVE IN BEIRUT TODAY

The Lebanese who were evacuated from Sudan yesterday (Monday) to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, via Jeddah Airport, are expected to arrive at Rafic Hariri International Airport today (Tuesday) in two batches. The first batch, 12 passengers, arrives at 3:00 pm aboard Middle East Airlines, while the second batch, 36 passengers, arrives at 11:30 pm. Their total number is 48; 32 Lebanese, 12 Palestinians with Lebanese documents, and 4 Syrians. It is to note that the first batch will be welcomed in Beirut by Foreign Minister, Abdullah Bou Habib.
