Units from the so-called Israel Nature Authority seize cows from Palestinian farmers in the Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, The so-called Israel Nature Authority today seized 12 cows owned by Palestinian farmers in the Jordan Valley, according to a local rights activist.

Aref Daraghmeh, a human rights defender, said the Nature Authority seized the cows when they were near the homes of the farmers in Umm al-Ghabar area in the northern Jordan Valley.

Palestinian farmers in the Jordan Valley make a living from raising livestock, which Israel tries to deprive them of this income in order to force them to leave the area in order to take it over for its illegal settlement projects.
