RAMALLAH, Weather today in Palestine is partially cloudy to cloudy with a drop in temperature, while remaining above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Scattered rain showers and possibly thunderstorms are expected on some areas during the evening and night hours.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly to easterly, moderate to active, and sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 18 C and a low of 10 C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 17 C and a low of 9 C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 25 C and a low of 15 C, while it is expected to reach a high of 23 C and a low of 13 C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A significant drop in temperature is expected for Wednesday to be slightly below the seasonal average, with a high chance of rain over some areas.
Another slight drop in temperature is expected on Thursday with a slight chance of scattered rain showers.
A low pressure is expected to affect the region on Friday, thus weather is expected to be partially cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold with a drop in temperature. Scattered rain showers and possibly thunderstorms expected on some areas, especially the northern.
PMD warned people against low visibility, slippery roads and formation of floods in low areas.
