Weather forecast: Another rise in temperature

RAMALLAH, Weather today is partly cloudy to cloudy and warm, with another rise of temperature, which becomes 3°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather tonight is partly cloudy and cold, particularly in the mountains. Light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly wind blows in daytime. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 10°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 16°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 16°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Wednesday’s temperature is set to further rise and approach 5°C above the seasonal average, with partly cloudy to cloudy and warm conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in nighttime. From midday, sporadic rain showers along with occasional thunderstorms are expected, starting in the north and gradually spreading to the center.

A low pressure and a cold front are set to affect the region on Thursday and Friday, causing temperature to plummet to 5°C below the seasonal average and paving the way to cloudy and cold to very cold conditions. Sporadic rain showers along with occasional thunderstorms are expected.
