RAMALLAH, Weather today is clear to partly cloudy and relatively cold in most districts and mild in the Jordan Valley in daytime with no change in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather tonight is mostly cloudy and relatively cold to cold. Moderate southeasterly wind blows in daytime, and moderate southeasterly to easterly wind prevails in the night. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 16 C and a low of 10 C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 15 C and a low of 9 C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 24 C and a low of 16 C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22 C and a low of 15 C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Tuesday’s temperature is set to rise and become unseasonably high, paving the way to partly cloudy and relatively cold conditions in daytime and cold conditions in nighttime.
A low pressure front is set to affect the region on Wednesday, causing temperature to plummet and paving the way to partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions. Torrential rain showers are highly expected along with occasional thunderstorms, especially in the north and the center.
Partly cloudy to cloudy and cold conditions continue to prevail on Thursday. Sporadic rain showers are expected starting in the north and extending to the center, with the chance of rainfall waning towards the night.
