RAMALLAH, Friday, July 8, 2022 (WAFA) – Weather today is mainly clear and hot in most districts and very hot in the Jordan Valley with a rise of temperature, which approaches 2°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Light to moderate westerly to northwesterly wind blows. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Mainly clear and hot conditions are set to prevail in most districts and very hot conditions in the Jordan Valley in daytime with a further slight rise of temperature on Saturday. Mild weather conditions are expected in the night, particularly in the mountains.

A slight rise of temperature is expected on Sunday, paving the way to mainly clear and hot conditions in daytime and mild conditions in the night.
