Weather forecast: Unseasonably hot conditions continue to prevail

RAMALLAH, Weather today is partly cloudy to clear and relatively hot to hot in daytime with a drop of temperature, which approaches 6°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Partly cloudy to clear and relatively cold conditions are expected in the night. Light to moderate southwesterly to westerly wind blows with occasional gusts in daytime. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 26°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Friday’s temperature is set to further slightly drop by 1°C with partly cloudy to cloudy and hot to very hot conditions in daytime. Relatively cold to cold conditions are expected in the night, particularly in the mountains. A slight chance of light rain is expected, especially in the north.

An additional drop of temperature is expected on Saturday, paving the way to partly cloudy to clear and fair conditions in daytime and relatively cold to cold conditions in the night.

Sunday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 3°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to partly cloudy and fair conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in the night.
