RAMALLAH, A low-pressure front is expected to affect Palestine today, thus weather conditions are set to be partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold, while temperature is expected to significantly drop, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD). Scattered rain showers are expected in most areas.
Winds are westerly to northwesterly, active with strong gusts at times. Sea waves are high.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 10°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 14°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 16°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Relatively cold to cold conditions, with no change in temperature, are expected on Thursday and Friday.
Saturday’s temperature is expected to significantly rise while the skies are expected to be partially cloudy to cloudy.
PMD warns against strong winds, low visibility, slippery roads, and a drop in temperature on Wednesday.
