Weather: Partially cloudy with a drop in temperature to become below the season’s average

RAMALLAH, Partly cloudy skies are expected to prevail today in Palestine with a drop in temperature to become below the seasonal average by two degrees Celsius, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A chance of drizzle in the northern areas is expected especially in the early morning hours.

Northwesterly to southwesterly moderate winds are expected and sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 26°C and a low of 16°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 36°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

No change in temperature is expected tomorrow, Thursday, but a rise in temperature is expected on Friday and Saturday to become 2°C above the seasonal average, said the PMD.
