RAMALLAH, Weather today in Palestine is cold and rainy with a noticeable drop in temperature plummeting to 5°C below the seasonal average, as a low-pressure cold front affects the country bringing with it rain, thunderstorms and occasional hailfall, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Torrential rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in almost all areas, with occasional hailfall over some areas.

Winds are southwesterly to westerly and moderate, while sea waves are medium.

The same weather conditions of rain, thunderstorms and occasional hailfall are expected for Monday, with yet another drop in temperature.

A slight rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday, with a little chance of rain over some areas.

Temperature rises on Wednesday to stay around its normal average, and partially cloudy to clear skies are expected throughout the day.

PMD warns people against the formation of floods in flood-prone areas, slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
