Weather: Slight rise in temperature, partially cloudy

Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy to clear and relatively hot in daytime, with a slight rise in temperature, which remains 2°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather tonight is relatively cold in the mountains and moderate in other areas. Winds are westerly to north-westerly and light to moderate and occasionally gusty. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 15°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 24°C and a low of 14°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 35°C and a low of 22°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Clear to partly cloudy and relatively hot conditions are set to prevail in daytime on Sunday. Moderate to slightly cold conditions are set to prevail in the morning and night hours, particularly in the mountains. A slight rise in temperature is expected.

Temperature rises further on Monday, paving the way to mainly clear and relatively hot conditions in daytime and moderate to slightly cold conditions in the morning and night hours, particularly in the mountains.

No significant change in temperature is expected for Tuesday.
