Weather: Slight rise in temperature, which remains below the seasonal average

RAMALLAH, Mild to relatively hot conditions are expected in Palestine today with a slight rise in temperature, which yet remains 3°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 17°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 25°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 35°C and a low of 24°C while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

No change in weather conditions and temperature is expected on Thursday.

Another slight rise in temperature is expected on Friday to become around the annual average, said the PMD.

Saturday’s temperature is expected to slightly drop to become below the seasonal average with relatively hot conditions prevailing.
