RAMALLAH Weather today in Palestine is partly cloudy to clear, with a rise in temperature, becoming 7°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are northwesterly and light to moderate, while sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 19°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 35°C and a low of 18°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Temperature is expected to rise again on Tuesday to become 9°C above the seasonal average, said the PMD. Therefore, hot conditions are likely to prevail too.
Extremely hot conditions are expected for Wednesday in most areas as temperature rises further to approach 11°C above the annual average.
Temperature drops on Thursday, which yet remains 6°C above the annual average.
