While condemning Israeli brutality against Palestinians, ministry demands holding Israel accountable for its actions

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today strongly condemned the brutal Israeli repression against peaceful Palestinian protests in the occupied territories and called on the international community to hold Israel accountable for its actions and impose deterrent sanctions against it.

It said in a statement that the Israeli occupying government does not care about reports issued by credible international organizations and institutions, the like of the reports by Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, which exposed Israel as practicing the worst forms of racial discrimination, apartheid, and persecution against the Palestinians.

“The interaction of countries and the United Nations and their interest in these reports, if any, is without any merit and does not encourage the international bodies to provide protection for our people and implement the relevant UN resolutions,” it said.

The Foreign Ministry said the US administration, the European Union and the United Nations are totally biased toward the occupation government and do not put any pressure on it to force it to stop the killing, repression, and land theft in the occupied Palestinian territories.
