RAMALLAH, Israeli occupation forces today and last night detained 45 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied territories, including a 14-year-old minor, according to Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS), local and security sources.
In Ramallah district, soldiers showed up at a house in Beit Sira town, west of the city, and detained a 14-year-old minor.
In the southern West Bank, a convoy of army vehicles raided the city of Hebron and several other area towns and villages where the soldiers forcibly entered several homes, conducted thorough searches, and rounded up at least 15 people including the mayor of Surif town, according to the PPS.
Israeli forces also detained a Palestinian from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.
The other detainees were from various parts of the occupied West Bank, said the sources.
