Muscat: The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) today celebrated the graduation of a batch of new recruits. The ceremony was held under the auspices of Rear Admiral Ali Abdullah Al Shidi, Commandant of the National Defence College (NDC), in the presence of Maj. Gen Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman.

According to Oman News Agency, the event began with a military salute to the chief guest, who then inspected the first column of the graduates. During the ceremony, the chief guest presented awards to the top graduates, recognizing their achievements.

The event was attended by several senior officers of the Sultan's Armed Forces, RAO officers and personnel, as well as parents of the graduating recruits.
