Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President General Joseph Aoun of the Lebanese Republic convened an official session of talks at Al Alam Palace today. The discussions focused on fostering cooperation and exploring opportunities for partnership and investment between Oman and Lebanon, with a specific emphasis on the commercial, industrial, agricultural, and tourism sectors. Additionally, both leaders addressed the political developments in the regions and deliberated on strategies to enhance security and stability.
According to Oman News Agency, the Omani delegation included high-ranking officials such as HH Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, and other key ministers. The Lebanese side was represented by Youssef Raggi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, and other notable figures, highlighting the significance of this bilateral engagement. The meeting underscored the mutual commitment to strengthening ties and exploring avenues for joint ventures, reflecting the deep-rooted relations between the two nations.
