Nizwa: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has conferred the Medals of Royal Commendation, Excellent Service, and Proficiency upon several senior officers of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) and the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA). The medals were awarded in a ceremony held at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences in Nizwa.
According to Oman News Agency, Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, presented the medals on behalf of His Majesty. The Chairman congratulated the officers on receiving this high royal honor, acknowledging their continuous efforts to advance the nation under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
Additionally, as the Chief Guest of the Royal Oman Police Annual Day celebrations, Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili also presented certificates of appreciation to several senior officers from the ROP and CDAA. These certificates were in recognition of their long service and significant contributions to their respective fields.
The ceremony witnessed the attendance of prominent figures, including Lt. Gen Hassan Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, and Maj. Gen Abdullah Ali Al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations. Maj. Gen Khalifa Ali Al Siyabi, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Administrative and Financial Affairs, along with other senior officers from the Royal Oman Police, were also present at the event.
